Marina di Aquileia

An ancient and modern ports in Friuli

At the edge of the Grado lagoon near the historic city of Aquileia, at an ancient Roman ports, lies Marina di Aquileia.

The dock next to the Natissa River, has 5 piers and quays extending for 750m. It can accommodate 300 boats with a maximum length of 18m.
The main feature of this marina is that it is a real fitting-out port. In it there is an area used for specialized work such as:

  • baked painting
  • engine overhaul
  • carpentry work
  • nautical carpentry work

Some dangers

Boats with a draft greater than 2m must be careful at low tide to the Natissa River area, so it is important to follow the lagoon route marked by briccole. Finally, it is good to avoid navigation in the night hours.
