Portomaran

Portomaran is located on Dossat Island, a few kilometers from the center of Marano Lagunare, in the province of Udine.
The lagoons of Marano Lagunare and Grado are rich in natural, historical and artistic beauty.

You can get a taste of the lagoon environment by visiting the Canal Novo Valley Nature Reserve, rich in flora and fauna typical of this environment.
Close to the Lagoon, which can only be reached by sea, is the Stella River Mouths Regional Nature Reserve, a true paradise for birdwatchers.

It is a calm, unspoiled place that can be traveled by boat following a marked, guided route through a village of casoni (houses made of reeds that once served as shelters for fishermen).

The port is 15 km from the San Giorgio di Nogaro exit of the A4 Venice-Trieste highway and 35 km from Ronchi dei Legionari airport.
By sea, the marina can be reached by accessing the Marano channel and sailing 4 miles.

The marina entrance is on the right at the beginning of the harbor.
The channel is dredged and bordered by white briccole on the right and red briccole on the left.
Due to the shallow waters, it is recommended to proceed with caution and extreme care inside the port.

The docked dock of the Portomaran marina consists almost entirely of floating docks and is capable of accommodating more than 500 vessels to which are added 20 transit berths.
The marina also has a pontoon equipped for the disabled.

Within the port, there are many services provided: drinking water and electricity are provided at the dock.
Customers can also take advantage of toilets and showers, the wi-fi Internet network within the facility, and bars and restaurants for refreshments.

Boat safety within the marina is ensured by the video surveillance system that covers the entire area and frequent patrols by night watchmen.

Within the marina you can also find a gas station, car parking, the yacht club, a pharmacy, a public telephone, a tobacconist that also sells newspapers, and a convenience store.

Garbage collection services (including waste oil, filters and accumulators) are in operation, as well as the ability to find up-to-date and accurate weather information to plan your itineraries with peace of mind.
The ports management office is open to the public for information.
A relaxation center is planned to be opened.

The port also has a slipway and two storage areas, one indoor and one outdoor.
Inside the yard, adjacent to the port, precise maintenance work is carried out on engines and boats reaching a maximum of 20 tons in weight.

Portomaran Shipyard performs electromechanical and hull repairs, wood or fiberglass and provides a large number of services including: hauling and launching vessels, antifouling and anti-osmosis treatments, scraping and sanding, sandblasting, painting, washing, polishing and interior cleaning.
For information and estimates, you can contact +39 366 6268239.
The shipyard is open from Monday to Friday with the hours 8 a.m. – 12 noon / 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. ; on Saturday, however, it remains open only in the morning from h 8 a.m. to h 12 noon.

Portomaran’sinformation office is available to the public Monday through Saturday according to the following hours: h 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. / 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
