Description

ThePortde Canet-en-Roussillon is located along the coast of the Gulf of Lion (in Mediterranean France).

It consists of four mooring docks. The favorable location, situated between the sea and the ponds of the Leucate Peninsula, protects the port area well.
The total number of places available for boats is 997 (some are reserved for passing boaters).

The port can accommodate boats with a maximum length of 35 meters, while the draft of the seabed varies, from 4 meters in the port access area to 3.5 meters present in the channel and docks, while in some areas it can go down to 2 meters. In any case, the maximum draft allowed for a vessel in transit here is 3 meters.
Anchoring is prohibited throughout the ports area and in the area in front of the port.

The area is fairly protected from southerly and southeast winds. It is affected by tramontana winds and any strong winds from the northeast may make access to the port impossible.

The marina offers its boaters drinking water sources and electricity supply columns that can be used exclusively to recharge batteries to power their boats’ engines.
It has sanitary facilities and shower rooms scattered throughout many parts of the landing (areas accessible only by a magnetic badge). It also has an area designated for waste and waste oil collection and bilge pumps for black water collection.

The weather report is published three times a day.

The shipbuilding area has a travelift with a maximum capacity of 35 tons, a squero that can bear up to 80 tons, a fixed crane that can lift a maximum weight of four tons, and storage spaces for small and large boats. It also has hauling areas.
Ports of Canet-en-Roussillon customers can also take advantage of maintenance and repair work on their boats and repairs on engines as well as a towing service for any boats that break down.

The port area of Canet-en-Roussillon also houses a gasoline and diesel filling station, which – on a self-service basis – is available 24 hours a day.
The area is also protected by a video surveillance system and a night watchman service.

The port also offers the opportunity to use the services of buying and selling boats and nautical accessories.
The local harbormaster’s office-during the summer season-is open from 8 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays and weekends.

Port de Canet-en-Roussillon is surrounded by a large sandy beach. Stores, pharmacies, supermarkets and bus stops can be found in its surroundings.

The area of Le Canet-en-Roussillon offers many beautiful beaches.

The beach de la Jetรฉe is the first one located on the right bank of the port. It is a large sandy beach, from which there is a view of the Pyrenees.
There are parking lots nearby, and in summer a rescue station can be found there. It offers a restaurant and showers for its bathers.

The beach du Sardinal is closest to the left side of the port of Le Canet. It is a sandy beach with an active rescue station in the summer months, showers, toilets, and with the possibility of renting swimming equipment on site. It also offers a restaurant and several parking lots (free and paid) nearby. The presence of sand dunes with small patches of vegetation and its proximity to the center-which, however, has taken nothing away in terms of natural beauty-make it one of the most popular destinations on the Port de Canet-en-Roussillon coastline.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! yachtdigest.com is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the yachtdigest.com portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
