The large coastal town of Port-Barcarès, which has been awarded the Blue Flag and Kid Station tourist labels, is located on the coast of the eastern Pyrenees and has a huge sandy beach stretching eight kilometers. During the summer it offers the opportunity to enjoy many water activities, particularly gliding, for adults and children. Also worth seeing is the Lydia, a stranded boat from 1967 that houses a casino, restaurant, and nightclub. Nearby, we also recommend a walk along the beach in Allée des Arts, dotted with contemporary sculptures.
