Porto Nuovo Formia

The structure of the New Port

The New Port of Formia, with its 500 berths, is a facility completely dedicated to recreational boats. It is protected by two elbow piers:

  • to the south the offshore one;
  • to the east the one below the breakwater.

The floating docks arranged within it can accommodate boats with a maximum length of 25m.

Request for docking

The docking mode requires the boat to stay no less than 20m from the entrance lights.

Within the anchorage there are 6 floating docks that are used, through special permits, by associations and individuals. For this reason, passing boats that want to moor must ask the Local Maritime Office in advance if there is landing availability.
