The Marina degli Aregai marina is located along the coast of the province of Imperia, in the municipality of Santo Stefano al Mare.

It is a modern and efficient landing place, opened in 1992, which enjoys an excellent location on the Riviera dei Fiori. It is part of the Cozzi- Parodi group, a complex of companies operating in western Liguria that is involved in real estate sales, building construction, and tourist facilities.
In addition to Marina degli Aregai, the group has carried out the construction of two other port calls: that of San Lorenzo al Mare and that of Portosole, in San Remo.

The port is protected by a sub-billow pier and a breakwater pier about 800 meters long. The marina basin is divided into two docks, divided by a quay. The harbor is structured to accommodate up to 980 vessels at one time, for boats between 6 and 40 meters in length.

It offers its guests continuous mooring assistance (24 hrs.), the possibility of procuring drinking water and electricity directly at the dock, and a surveillance service. The port area also offers a fueling station, toilets and showers, a self-service laundry, and weather report issuance from the local harbormaster’s office.
The area is well protected from winds. However, attention should be paid to the possible presence of strong currents from the east.

As for the shipbuilding and maintenance area, the marina offers a shipyard with a travelift with a maximum capacity of 100 tons, several workshops dealing with electronic, mechanical and sail repairs, a slipway and a dedicated slipway area. The Aregai ports provide a backdrop for various regattas and events.

Beyond its boating function, the Marina degli Aregai ports is configured as a tourist attraction, making it a popular destination not only for boaters but also for those who simply want to take a vacation. In fact, its clients can enjoy a residential and hotel complex, with conference hall and sports facilities. The facility has four buildings housing 84 apartments and 22 suites.

In addition, the port area is home to a shopping arcade, which offers a wide selection of stores ranging from tobacconists and clothing to groceries and delicatessens.
For those who want to learn to sail, the ports also houses a sailing school. For diving enthusiasts, on the other hand, there is also a diving center. Facilities also include a gymnasium, a veterinarian, an electronics store, and numerous nautical agencies.
The port area also houses restaurants, bars and a pizzeria.

The hotel directly overlooks a beautiful private, fine-sand beach, where bathing facilities such as sunbeds and umbrellas are available and also accessible to people with physical disabilities. The beach is surrounded by a grassy area, where it is possible to find pleasant areas of ‘shade on hot summer days.

Located east of the center of Santo Stefano al Mare, the Marina degli Aregai is strategically located for moving by boat along the coast of Liguria to the French Riviera or Corsica. In fact, the port is 20 nautical miles from Mentone, 80 nautical miles from Campo Corso, and 85 nautical miles from Calvi. Genoa airport is about 110 miles away, while Nice airport is about 80 miles away. Following the coastal highway, it is possible to reach Imperia from Marina degli Aregai in just over twenty minutes (about 15 kilometers).
