Marina di Capo San Donato – Ports of Liguria
Consisting of a long breakwater pier banked on its inside and a breakwater pier below, the Marina di Capo San Donato is a public port set in one of the most fascinating stretches of coastline in the whole of the west and surrounded by beaches of rare beauty in a surrounding area rich in history and nature.
The infrastructure is included within the air called the Charter Sanctuary.
Work on the construction of the harbor began in 1964, and, since then, a number of works have been completed to meet the needs of boaters, including, a photovoltaic panel system for the production of electricity, the tank for the recovery of water from boat washing, and the creation of ecological islands for the recovery and disposal of polluting materials.
The seabed is sandy.
The marina has 590 berths, for units up to 17 meters long, 10% of which are reserved for transit. Each berth is equipped with water and electricity supply columns. Users, including transit, are provided with a rechargeable key to take advantage of this service.
