The refuge port of Capo di San Lorenzo offers mooring possibilities for boats with a shallow draft, 1.2 to 1.5 meters.

Description

The Marina di San Lorenzo al Mare marina is located along the coast of the province of Imperia, in the municipality of San Lorenzo al Mare.

This is a modern and efficient landing place, opened in 2008, which enjoys an excellent location on the Riviera dei Fiori, in a very accorsed and picturesque corner of the Ligurian Sea.

It is an integral part of the Cozzi- Parodi group, a complex of companies operating in western Liguria that is involved in real estate sales, tourist facilities and building construction. In addition to the Marina di San Lorenzo, the group has been instrumental in the creation of two other port calls: that of Marina degli Aregai (in nearby Santo Stefano a Mare) and that of Portosole, in San Remo, which are three and eight nautical miles away from the marina, respectively.

The ports are protected by a sub-billow pier and a long outer breakwater pier.
It accommodates nine piers and is designed to accommodate up to 365 boats at once, for boats between 6 and 20 meters in length.
It offers its guests continuous mooring assistance service (24 hrs.), the possibility to get drinking water and electricity directly at the dock (equipped with lighting).
The port area also offers restrooms and showers, a garbage and sewage collection service, and a diver service for underwater intervention needs.

The area is well protected from II and III winds, but beware of any strong southwesterly currents.

As for the shipbuilding and maintenance area, the marina has a boat slipway, a slipway, and a boatyard.
In addition, there is a diesel and fuel station at the landing .

In addition to its boating function, the Marina di San Lorenzo port also qualifies as a tourist attraction, offering various services to patrons who choose to spend their vacations here.

In fact, the marina’s business proposals include a building housing sixty maritime cabins and a hotel-the Hotel Riviera dei Fiori-a four-star hotel with 44 rooms and direct access to a private beach.
The beach is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds and has a lifeguard station.
The rooms have all hotel comforts (satellite TV, air conditioning, mini-bar), while the hotel also houses a bar-restaurant, a gymnasium and a wellness center-the Jacaranda Spa.
In addition to the spa and restaurant, the Marina San Lorenzo area also houses a charter agency, sailing school, and boat market.

Planned, however, is the expansion of the commercial hub, with the integration of some 20 new businesses.

A pharmacy, camping grounds, supermarkets, pizzerias, and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity of the port. There is also a parking lot, reserved for marina and hotel guests.

The complex is located next to the pedestrian and bicycle path that leads all the way to San Remo.

Located near the center Santo Stefano al Mare, the Marina di San Lorenzo al Mare is strategically located for boating along the Ligurian coast to the French Riviera or Corsica.
In fact, the port is 40 nautical miles from Mentone, 80 nautical miles from Cape Corso, and 88 nautical miles from Calvi.
Genoa airport is about 105 kilometers away, while the distance to Niceairport is about 85 kilometers.

The Marina di San Lorenzo is easily reached by car or by public transport.
It is in fact about 5 kilometers from the Imperia Ovest exit of the A10 highway (for those coming from Genoa), and about 10 kilometers from the Sanremo Est exit (for those coming from Ventimiglia).
By train, on the other hand, it is possible to get off at the Imperia- Porto Maurizio station and continue one’s journey by bus for about 15 minutes.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! yachtdigest.com is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the yachtdigest.com portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
