Porto Antica Compagnia della Vela

TheAntica Compagnia della Vela provides a safe harbor at the mouth of the Magra River in the protected natural area of the Montemarcello Regional Park. Nearby is the Apuan Alps Park. It is an extremely green area, so much so that it has earned the port the appellation “garden port”: this marina is an emblem of the perfect integration between the environment and natural assets and man-made services.

The ports of the Antica Compagnia della Vela can be considered an ideal starting point for planning itineraries and setting out to discover the surrounding beauty. It is only 3 nautical miles from the Tino and Palmaria islands and 15 from Forte dei Marmi. The Cinque Terre are only 16 nautical miles away, while at 50 and 84 we find the islands of Capraia and Bastia, respectively.

The port has a 120-m floating dock intended for boats up to 14 meters in length, speedboats, and inflatable boats. There are also two docks: one 130 m long and a smaller one 20 m long. The former is designed for boats and yachts reaching a maximum length of 20 meters, while the latter is dedicated to small motorboats. A total of 90 berths are available in the water.

The dock offers not only in-water moorings but also onshore berths used for storage. Storage is outdoors and is available for dinghies and sail or motor boats up to a maximum length of 16 meters. The storage area is located close to the body of water, facilitating boat hauling and launching procedures.

The storage service includes: 24/7 video surveillance, electricity and drinking water supply, reserved parking space with attached trolley, toilets and showers, free use of wi-fi internet available throughout the ports.

A do-it-yourself slipway is available for use by owners of dinghies and dinghies to facilitate hauling and launching of vessels and to allow fresh water service for rinsing them.

The port has several parking lots, all of which are protected and monitored by a closed-circuit television camera system. A parking lot with automated access is reserved for clients who own an in-water berth; a large free parking area located in the outer yard is intended for owners of shore storage contracts; free parking spaces are made available to visitors and charter club clients; and finally, dinghy owners can take advantage of reserved parking spaces complete with a trailer.

Antica Compagnia della Vela is a real vacation spot that is accessible to even the youngest children, thanks to the presence of a beautiful garden park and the many social activities, such as regattas and lunches, organized for members of the Foce del Magra Nautical Club and the Foce del Magra Yacthing Club.

The park features a large lawn “solarium” equipped with sunbeds and deck chairs to allow Antica Compagnia della Vela guests to enjoy the warmth of the sun. A large area is shaded thanks to the presence of the many fruit trees. An entire area is dedicated to children and is equipped with slides, swings and ping-pong tables; yet another makes it possible to organize outdoor barbecues thanks to the presence of tables and chairs.

On the site you can take advantage of the Live Cam 360° service that provides a complete view of the marina.
