Porto di Portofino

The Marina di Portofino stands in the middle of a natural promontory formed by the inlet of Portofino Bay and extends to the Piazzetta del Borgo.

The only spaces used for transit within the Ligurian marina are the two stretches under concession to Portofino Servizi Turistici. The first stretch, the one closest to the small square, allows mooring for 6/7 superyachts up to a maximum of 60 meters in length; the second stretch is located beyond the fuel station and is equipped with 8 moorings (on deadbanks and buoys) available for boats up to 18 meters long.

In addition to these two stretches, there are the 2 anchor moorings with ground lines within Cannon Bay: these are for the exclusive use of mega yachts that have a minimum length of 60 meters.

The seabed is muddy and its depth varies considerably from area to area. At the dock, the draft ranges from 1.4 mt to 4 mt; at the buoys, it ranges from 1 mt to a maximum of 1.7; in ports, the seabed ranges from 0.5 mt to a maximum of 16 mt.

The management offices are located on the second floor of one of the colorful houses overlooking the small square and are the center of the video surveillance service that is active day and night, 7 days a week and connected with the Local Police.

The moorers’ point of operation is located on the dock, so that they are always ready to intervene, on land or by dinghy, to help boaters and crews.

Inside the port, customers will be able to use the toilets and showers (owned by the municipality but operated by the marina) free of charge, as well as the separate waste collection at the dock.

The supply of drinking water and electricity are guaranteed, as well as the presence of a fuel station and the collection of waste oil (both at the Umberto I Pier).

There is also the option for boaters to take advantage of the internet points or the wi-fi internet network available throughout the port area for a fee. It will also be easy to find accurate and up-to-date weather information so you can safely plan your itinerary and, upon request, take advantage of on-board food and beverage delivery.

For hauling and launching small boats, there is a fixed-boom swivel crane within the ports that can be used with the assistance of Marina staff.

Numerous grocery stores and supermarkets are easily accessible, as they are located within the Village.

Especially during the summer season, the traffic of yachts and passenger ferries becomes particularly heavy. Therefore, caution is suggested when approaching ports and it is recommended to avoid the times when public ferry traffic is particularly congested, namely around noon and during the late afternoon hours.
