Porto di San Bartolomeo

A picturesque landing in the Gulf of Diana

About 9 km from Imperia and 1 km from the port of Diano Marina is the small port of San Bartolomeo al Mare, which is part of one of the most important tourist areas of the Riviera dei Fiori and of the whole of Liguria: the Gulf of Diana.

It consists of 3 “T”-shaped floating docks and, a fourth floating dock is anchored parallel to the northern breakwater below the breakwater. The complex of docks can accommodate 170 boats with a maximum length of 15m. There are regularly marked breakwaters at the head of the breakwater by lanterns.

The seabed is quite shallow with a maximum depth of 2.60m. Those entering the ports should keep in mind that:

  • postile “A” accommodates boats up to 6 m
  • the pier “B” up to 8 m
  • the pier “C” up to 15 m
  • the pier “D” up to 10 m

Navy bans

In the ports it is prohibited to do work on boats, fishing, and diving unless authorized or bathing. In addition, sports such as water skiing or windsurfing are not allowed.
