Porto Mirabello

Porto Mirabello is considered one of the most important superyacht ports within the entire Mediterranean basin. Its structure is unique, being in fact the only city marina in Italy: it consists of an artificial peninsula of 40,000 square meters that allows the coastline to be left untouched, fully respecting the environment and the surrounding ecosystem. This artificial peninsula is then connected to the city of La Spezia by pedestrian bridge.

Port management is devoted to the luxury mood. The main target audience is megayachts; therefore, many innovative and state-of-the-art solutions are adopted designed to be able to offer clients ample space and complete usability, always ensuring the highest possible level of comfort.

The main piers range in length from 25 to 34 meters and allow berthing for vessels up to 100 meters in length; this is also possible thanks to their width, which reaches 35 meters in some cases. Boaters can choose to park their cars in the immediate vicinity of their berths thanks to the 287 parking garages available .

The depth of the seabed, which is partly sandy and partly muddy, varies greatly depending on the piers and the size of the berths: it ranges from a draft of 3.5 meters to a maximum of 9 meters.

There are 407 berths offered by the port, 100 of which are reserved exclusively for superyachts between 25 and 130 meters in length. In addition to these berths, there are another 700 berths, designed for boats under 14 meters in length, located outside the main wharf and created on 13 floating docks.

The entrance is located on the eastern side and is set back from the 620-meter-long breakwater, developed on a west-soaring axis: this pier allows the port to be significantly protected from winds blowing from the southern quadrants.

There are many services offered within the ports. More than 1,000 parking spaces are added to the 287 parking stalls. Surveillance is guaranteed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week thanks to the surveillance service and video cameras installed all over the surface of the port. There is no shortage of drinking water, electricity, garbage collection, restrooms and showers serving customers, wi-fi internet network and all other amenities.

Also of note is the presence of a heliport, located at the head of the main pier, within the area reserved exclusively for megayachts.

Also located within the port is a shipyard for maintenance, routine or extraordinary, of boats. Among other equipment, the shipyard is equipped with travel lifts for hauling and launching boats weighing up to 160 tons.

The ports are equipped with two fuel ing stations. The first is located at the entrance to the main pier and dispenses diesel and gasoline. The second, located at the head of the main pier, dispenses diesel fuel and high flow facilitated fuel oil (SIF) for megayachts. The dispensing capacity is 500 liters per minute.

A shopping arcade consisting of more than 30 stores allows port customers to relax and purchase goods of all kinds. There are also bars, wine bars and restaurants, as well as a 25-meter swimming pool. Soon to be built will be 11 exclusive suites capable of providing a complete and total view of the city and the gulf.

Customer service has highly qualified and knowledgeable staff and is at the complete disposal of the customer to meet every need. The reception desk is open daily according to the hours 09:00 – 19:00.
