Portolabieno is a marina that overlooks Lake Maggiore. It is located in the center of Laveno, north of the gulf.
The port infrastructure consists of floating docks (4 types of docks, depending on the size of the vessels) on which 160 berths are distributed (some of which are reserved for boats in transit) for sail and motor boats between 6 and 14 meters in length.
The landing is located inside the Gulf of Lavano, a position that provides Portolabieno with good shelter from the Tramontana and Inverna winds, which are very frequent on Lake Maggiore. Protecting the body of water are the outer pier (provides shelter from northwesterly winds) and the Laveno pier.
