Porto di Domaso

The Port of Domaso

The port of Domaso is primarily a small marina located in a discreet and sheltered area of Lake Como. The entire facility and, of course, the area are characterized by the local breeze and tranquility that distinguishes the clean lake resort of the Como area.

Compared to the size of the small town, the port manages proportionately to occupy a considerable amount of space, providing a good mooring point for recreational boats in the area. The berths are controlled and secure. Aimed at all visitors to the area who wish to dock their boats and then engage in sightseeing of the pretty surroundings.

The mooring facility consists of traps, floating docks, and briccole. All components placed in such a way as to provide safe and convenient mooring for boats ranging from 5 to 9 meters in length. For a total of about 50 boats. There are also concrete pontoons, placed outside the area, which, however, serve only as breakwaters.

The entire facility is constantly monitored by a video surveillance service, bounded by an exclusive access gate for clients. In addition, the port offers berths for the summer and shed parking in the winter period. For passing travelers who require more and quicker parking, 5 buoy spaces are also available.

Boat mooring stations are equipped with potable water and electricity as well as full wi-fi service coverage. As a result of a partnership with Nautica Domaso, the port also provides two cranes for use in launching andhauling 8-ton boats. Finally, there is a shipyard offering fiberglass repairs, engine servicing, and special hull fittings.

The port of Domaso is a facility that provides excellent service and a safe mooring point for boats in the area. Boats that decide to enjoy the tranquility of the area, can access the port service hardly finding overcrowding problems. However, it is confirmed that due to the success of the area, the municipality has launched the construction of a larger facility that promises to provide mooring facilities for more than 200 boats in the future.
