Porto di Dusano

The Port of Dusano is a facility located along the shores of Lake Garda on the southwestern coast and is part of the municipality of Manerba del Garda.

The facility offers 72 mooring berths, for boats that are over 5 meters in length and a size that does not exceed 15 meters in length.
Each berth has ‘access to drinking water sources and electricity supply columns. The landing offers its customers showers, toilets, wi-fi connection, a free self-service laundry (for landing guests).

The port also has a shipyard area, with repair workshops for sail and motor boats, with a crane that can lift weights of up to 20 tons, with a slipway, and with a team of mechanics who can work on problems on engines and and bodies, various types of interventions on any internal problems of the boats.
The port also offers its guests the opportunity to be assisted in launching and hauling operations.
It also has a fueling station, for gasoline and diesel.

The Port of Dusano also benefits from a continuous video surveillance system-both day and night-and a security guard service.
The Port also has a winter storage area that can accommodate boats no longer than 18 meters.
The port team also offers the possibility of buying and selling boats (new and used), boat rentals, and a buying and selling service for nautical accessories and instruments (new and second-hand).

The ports area is located in a fairly sheltered setting, which gives it a quiet atmosphere.
Within the ports area there is an Italian cuisine restaurant (with a terrace overlooking the port) and a lounge bar.
Private parking spaces are available for patrons arriving here in their own cars.

The port has an extremely favorable and panoramic location: it is situated near Garda Island and the Rock of Manerba.
Manerba del Garda is a town in Valtenesi, in the province of Brescia. Legend has it that the town was built in Roman times as a sign of devotion to the goddess Minerva (hence the place name would come from). Some remains found near the town’s fortress have allowed traces of a Mesolithic-era civilization to be traced.

The nearby island of San Biagio (also known as Isola dei Conigli) is also part of the territory.
The surroundings of the Port of Dusano – and Manerba del Garda in general – offer patrons a good choice of beaches.

The closest is precisely Dusano Beach, which is a free beach surrounded by dense vegetation and favored by a sheltered location that give it a wild and unspoiled appearance. It has crystal-clear waters and bars, restaurants and businesses can be found in its surroundings.

The Sasso beach, on the other hand, falls within the Rocca di Manerba del Garda Nature Park, with its paths, a nature trail, and an archaeological trail. It is situated under a cliff that drops sheer to the lake waters and is surrounded by thick vegetation.

La Romantica beach, on the other hand, is located just below the Rock of Manerba. It is the largest beach in the area and is about 4 kilometers away from the Port of Dusano. It is a very picturesque beach with clear waters, surrounded by beautiful vegetation. It is a popular destination for families because of its size and the presence of bars, restaurants, and kiosks in the immediate vicinity, the proximity of several campsites, the presence of green and shady areas to rest, and the possibility of renting beach equipment and practicing water sports.
