Where to dock on Lake Maggiore: ports of Piedmont

Strategically located on the lakefront of the town of the same name, Arona’s lakefront tourist d ock is a fully equipped, landmark Lake Maggiore boating dock.

Themunicipal marina has a dock with 50 bollards for docking recreational boats of varying sizes.

Moored boats should not be left for too long periods, as there are sudden gusts of wind and changes in lake level that make moorings precarious.
Strong undertow is present in the summer period due to the passage of vessels and boats.

There is no electricity available at the landings, no public toilet, and no sewage disposal facilities.

Access and docking are easy due to excellent maneuvering spaces.

Check out Tuttobarche’s portolano of Piedmont for a complete list of docks and landings for boaters and detailed information on Lacustrian boating.
