The ports are protected by two piers.
The port infrastructure of La Caletta represents in the territory (among the ports in Sardinia in the specific area) the only offer for recreational boating.
Boat mooring is allowed at the docks operated by the Municipal Service Center and for members, at the CNC docks.
The CNC, Circolo nautico La Caletta, operates 6 docks on the east side of the central wharf (4 of which are floating mobiles) on a stretch of water of more than 14,000m2 where 192 berths are provided with night lighting, boat mooring assistance, electricity and water.
Themunicipalities of Posada and Siniscola manage through the Service Center all other docks on the west side (left for those entering the port) of the central pier, in addition to the docks on the breakwater pier; currently (Jan. 2015) only the 6 docks to the left of the central pier have services.
There are docks equipped for boat mooring.
(Reserved places are available for boats in transit up to 40 meters in length).
The entrance to the port is well sheltered and is easily recognized, from the sea, by the Tower of St. John (north of the entrance).
N.B. CNC members also have a shore space available where they can perform minor boat maintenance.
A small boatyard equipped with a travel lift has been operating since 2013.
