Located at the beginning of Poetto beach, which is about 15 km long, the port of Marina Piccola is Cagliari’s marina. Due to its location close to the beach, this port turns out to be more than the port of Cagliari itself.
The marina is protected by an internally docked breakwater pier and a sub-billow pier where there are a number of floating docks inside.
Mainly frequented by Cagliari residents who moor their sailboats at this port, the marina is home to sailing clubs such as the Yatch Club and the Windsurfing Club of Cagliari.
Except for a small area for fishing boats, the entire port is reserved for recreational boating.
