Description

Levanzo is the smallest island of the Egadi Islands. To get a better idea of its size, just think that the emerged surface of the island measures just 5 km2! Despite its small size, Levanzo is one of the most beloved and popular islands for tourists. Capturing interest is above all its wild nature, which is complemented by a crystal-clear sea characterized by clear, turquoise waters.

Reaching Levanzo is easy: those who do not have their own boat can take advantage of ferries or the hydrofoils that leave from the port of Trapani.

The island’s main attraction is definitely the Genovese Cave, a splendid archaeological site where it is possible to admire a large number of prehistoric graffiti dating back more than 8,000 years.

Reaching Pizzo Monaco, a promontory rising 270 meters above sea level, on the other hand, one can enjoy a splendid panorama and admire the great beauty of the Mediterranean from above.

The beauty of Levanzo is not only found on land. Scuba diving enthusiasts can enjoy a wonderful underwater itinerary: between Cala Minnola and Punta Altarella, at a depth of 30 meters it is possible to admire the remains of a Roman shipwreck and dozens and dozens of amphorae and ceramic vessels dating back to the 1st century BC.

Hiking is recommended for visiting the small island, so you can fully enjoy its wilderness and breathe its clean air. The roads are car-free, and the only existing paved road is the one that leads to Faraglione Beach. Getting lost in the paths that lead to the heart of this wonderful island is a priceless experience.

Levanzo’s only population center is the small village of Cala Dogana, little more than a group of houses. Despite its small size, a few small restaurants are not lacking; as a result, Cala Dogana fills to overflowing with tourists and visitors during the summer season.

Opposite the village of Cala Dogana we find the beach of the same name, and it is here that the island’s only landing place is located, 6.5 nautical miles from Trapani. It is a small marina consisting of an elbow pier with a total length of 80 meters. Adjacent to the pier is a small dock, in front of which a masonry groin is used by hydrofoils and scheduled ferries.

Despite the technological backwardness of the island and the lack of many amenities, it is still possible to find restaurants and bars that overlook the small harbor directly.

Pleasure craft can dock at the pier located to the west, but the number of available berths is extremely limited: there are only 15.

There are few services for boaters: there is a water fountain, a fixed crane, and a medical guard. Use of toilets is allowed only in the summer period, while electricity supply is never possible.

Do you need to sell your boat? You are in the right place! Tuttobarche.it is in fact the largest online portal on recreational boating and in this section you will be able to write your ad for free if you want to sell your boat. Adding a new sales message is very simple and intuitive as is finding a boat you are interested in buying, but to make your listing even more appealing, we want to give you some general but important pointers that you can follow if you wish.

First of all, try to personalize your ad, describing the history of the boat and perhaps the reason why you are selling it, this way you will gain more trust from the reader.

You can call it “half-new” if it is almost new, or “used” by specifying whether or not it is in good condition. It indicates the condition of the engines, the year of registration, how many owners it has had-most importantly, it indicates whether the boat has been owned by a single owner: it increases interest to those reading the ad.

The goodness of your craft must shine through in your message, because before you can convince someone, you yourself must be convinced that the product is good.

It is important that no spelling errors are made in the advertisement, so reread the message well before putting it online. The language then must be clear and simple, understandable to all.

It serves to attract interest and induce the reader to continue reading; it is the most important part and should summarize in one line the whole message we want to give. Unfortunately, you don’t have much chance to stand out much except with something really original to attract attention. So focus on truly original details of the boat, its real qualities: in the Tuttobarche.it portal this brief summary will appear by hovering over the picture of the boat with the mouse.

It is important to clearly include the general record of the vessel. Always enter: shipyard, model, length, width, draft, engines, number of cabins, year of construction, price.

In the boat sheet accurately enter all boat details, standard and extra equipment. It is useful to communicate many details and details for those who are really interested and will continue reading beyond the first few lines.

Suggest to the reader who wants to buy the best features of your craft, and do not indicate-unless it is necessary to inform the buyer in advance-information that might negatively influence the reader.

Always indicate the price. Unless you absolutely do not want to deal, we recommend adding the words “price negotiable” which gives an incentive for the buyer to contact you.
