Porto dell’Etna-Marina di Riposto

At the foot of Mount Etna just 6 nautical miles from Taormina is the Marina di Riposto port, a modern, well-equipped dock with 150 m of moorable quay on shore in addition to 570 m of floating docks.

This landing is structured as follows:

• a central concrete pier oriented for ENE from which several floating docks depart;
• A moorable shore quay of about 220 m;
• a dock formed by the sub-billow pier, the anti-swamp groin and the North shore dock, which houses 4 floating docks, currently under completion.

The shipyard

A 5,000-square-meter yard and a 1,000-square-meter shed ensure permanent support suitable for all kinds of needs and vessels. Hauling and launching operations are carried out there, and a 160-ton travel lift, a 20-ton radio-controlled trolley and a 3-ton telescopic trolley are available.

All routine and extraordinary maintenance operations, such as cycles for osmosis treatment, are also guaranteed, and there is a carpentry and machine shop with lathes, milling cutters, and any other equipment necessary for servicing outboard and inboard engines.
