Marina di Portorose

Slovenia ports: where to moor in Portorož

Located near an ancient salt marsh on the eastern side of Slovenia’s Fazan inlet, the Marina Portorož marina is sheltered from winds, so sailing and recreational sailing conditions are favorable year-round.

Safe access to ports:

  • North via the channel north of the Seca Peninsula
  • South of the city of Portorož.

The channel is marked by two lights 300 meters from the breakwaters that signal the entrance.
Portorož Landing consists of two docks that allow 650 boats with a maximum draft of 3.50 m to moor. Both channels are bordered by wooden poles equipped with a light on both sides, leading to their entrances.

The two basins of Marina Portorož are divided as follows:

  • The one to the north includes 2 piers;
  • The one to the south has 8 indicated by a letter from A to H.

Attention should be paid to the channel located north of the ports as it is often frequented by small boats.
