Puerto De Vueltas

The mouth of the inner pier of this port in southwest La Gomera is open to the SE. Sailing in a N direction, reach the nose of the seawall and turn NW to stay at your shelter. There are several shallows in the vicinity of the mouth of the same, but they do not pose greater risks for maneuvering access for small boats. After the widening, a new (outer) dock was configured that is also open to the southeast with better access conditions, without the problems of casualties, allowing docking of commercial vessels and cruisers up to 200 m. in length. The port of Vueltas may be affected by swells in the southern component, although the dock provides sufficient security for most of the year, given the relatively low incidence of southern component storms.
