The Nàutico Moraira Club, founded in 1975, is a nonprofit sports association with the purpose of promoting the practice of water sports activities. Since 1985, when the work of the Moraira marina was completed with the efforts of all its members, the Moraira Yacht Club has been included in the nautical tourism sector of the Valencian Community as one of the offerings with the highest quality-price. In addition, it was a pioneer in obtaining the Blue Flag of the Clean Seas of Europe, a badge awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education to those ports that stand out for their respect for the environment around them, and meet the highest quality standards in their port services.
