The Real Club de Valencia was founded in 1903 as a private sports association to promote culture and activities that have the sea as their medium. After almost 80 years together with the Port of Valencia, the need for more leisure space led us to move our facilities to our current location, near the new mouth of the Turia River and only ten minutes from the city center. In 1992 we expanded our facilities from 75,000 m2 on land and 144,000 in the sea to 100,000 on land and 250,657 m2 in the water. The number of berths increased from 1,011 to 206, making us the nautical club with the largest area in the country.
