Sant Carles Marina, one of Catalunya’s newest port facilities, is located on the southern border of the Delta de l’Ebre Natural Park, in Alfacs Bay and protected by Trabucador bar. Sant Carles Marina is a modern port facility located south of the mouth of the Ebro River, opposite the town of Sant Carles de la Rapita and at one end of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. The port is adjacent to Sant Carles de la Rapita and is in Alfacs Bay, bordered by Trabucador bar, which is an excellent natural barrier that protects the port from any wind. It offers 1,150 berths for boats from 8 to 33 meters, with a maximum draft of 3.70 meters.
The marina has a waiting dock, a 75-ton elevating trestle, a 5-ton crane, and a 10,000-square-meter grounding area. Among the marina facilities is a restaurant with a nice terrace and a nice swimming pool. When approaching the port from the sea, it is necessary to check the depth gauge and respect the light beacons, as sandbars occasionally form.
As a reference point, you can take the large cement port depots, located just over three miles to the southwest.
