Pare che l’idea sia venuta al giovane Bombardier durante una delle sueย sessioni di immersioni subacquee a Bora Bora e non a caso ilย fondo del Seataci รจ infatti trasparente, per poter osservare molto da vicino il fondo marino. Altra peculiaritร  del progetto รจ poi proprio quella di avere un pescaggio molto ridotto, proprio per poter poter portare in crociera ricchi turisti tra isole e atolli, serpeggiando tra le barriere coralline. Com’รจ possibile? Proprio grazie all’innovativo sistema di propulsione.

Ai lati del grande corpo centrale dove ci sono cabine, aree comini eย stazione diย pilotaggio ci sono due pod, due capsule che ospiteranno i motori e con le parti finali piatte,ย che si muovono proprio come due grandi pinneย assicurando, nell’idea dei progettisti, non solo la spinta, ma anche una grande stabilitร  laterale. Una propulsione, inoltre, anche molto poco invasiva:ย silenziosa ed ecologica.

All’opposto il ponte superiore รจ interamente studiato per godersi la vita all’aria aperta: spiccano due gigantesche piscine, e una sconfinata beach-area con tanto di palme. Non manca, ma รจ quasi superfluo sottolinearlo, lo spazio dedicato all’atterraggio dell’elicottero.

Seataci sarร  anche un semplice concept, un prodotto della fantasia, ma ha giร  un prezzo: per realizzarlo Charles Bombardier ha messo in conto una spesaย diย 100 milioni di dollari. Originariamente รจ stato pensato come puro mezzo da crociera o per il diporto, ma il suo ideatore non esclude un utilizzo anche come mezzo per la ricerca scientifica.
