One-of-a-kind sale of Marconi-sailed Cutter-rigged Flounder, made in 5 years of hard work by hand in self-production, in the shipyard in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), where it is located to the present day (2023): hand-created from a hull of Larch wood, found in 2002 abandoned on a Calabrian beach.
Totally rebuilt from scratch with larch wood, it flies the Italian flag and has been registered in the nautical list of the “Associated Management Consortium of Lakes MAGGIORE, COMABBIO, MONATE AND VARESE” since 2012.
8.50 meters long and 2.20 meters wide, weighing 2,000 kilograms, with a drift draft of 0.70 meters, a bowsprit of 1.80 meters embellished with a lizard (“Lagartija” in Spanish) carved in wood;
Lagartija mounts a SELVA outboard, 2-stroke engine, 5.9 hp, hp 8, with 10L gasoline fuel, maneuverable from the inside and with the possibility of placement of an inboard engine, easily positioned in ascent and descent into the sea, thanks to the construction of a spiaggino.
There are no. 2 fuel tanks equipped with pathway lights. The fully reconstructed wooden cabin offers no. 2 single berths with 6-inch thick mattresses and padded white cloth headrests.
The mast is 8.60 mt high and the mainsail 10 mt, mounts a 12.8 sq. m. YANKER, and also included in the price are new sails GENOA 10 sq. m. and FIOCCO 1 sq. m.
The boom is 3.05 mt and the rudder tiller made of Larch wood, set with a rare 500 lira coin of the Italian Republic Colombo Caravelle.
Solid and reliable has balanced sea navigation even with 6 passengers with convenient wooden ladder for descent to the sea.
Lagartija is equipped with no. 4 winches, no. 6 cleats, no. 2 rope references, no. 4 stoppers, no. 2 drilled rails and various blocks, as well as no.2 wooden half-boats, no. 2 wooden oars, no. 1 ring lifebuoy, no.4 vests.
Lagartija is equipped with no. No. 1 Danforth anchor, self-made, galvanized for seabed with length 540 mm x width “W “400 and weight 6 kg, foldable so it can be stored in the forward cockpit, a place built specifically to allocate it. No. 1 Umbrella anchor of 4 kg, correlated with mooring lines and no. 8 fenders. In the cockpit no. 6 lockers (including in the cabin no. 1 galley and bar), with no. 2 tanks for drinking water and in the floorboard accommodation x no. 2 batteries electric and one manual bilge pump.
