Il debutto รจ previsto per l’estate del 2018, in una delle piรน prestigiose regate al mondo, la Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup. Perย ora dobbiamo accontentarci dei primi rendering diffusi poche ore fa dal cantiere Wally della sua ultima creatura, il Wally 93.
Un cruiser-racer lungo 28,30 metri progettato daย Judel&Vrolijk, per un armatore che ha chiesto uno scafo potente, in grado di ambire al podio delle piรน importanti regate destinate ai maxi.
“Il Wally 93 ha nel suo DNA – ha dichiarato il fondatore e presidente del cantiere, Luca Bassani – i caratteri di tutti i Wally, ossiaย ย la capacitร di coniugare prestazioni eccezionali con altissimi livelli di comfort in crociera. E poi รจ cosรฌ bello che ce se ne innamora al primo sguardo”.
Che il papร sia molto orgoglioso della sua ultima creatura non stupisce. Quello che รจ certo รจ che il 93 piedi esprime in pieno il family feeling del cantiere, non fosse altro perchรจ ancora una volta scaturisce dall’inconfondibile architettura navale dello studio Judel&Vrolijk.
Lo scafo, che รจ giร in fase di costruzione, sarร realizzatoย in fibra di carbonio e con le piรน avanzate tecnologie per garantire leggerezza e maggiore rigiditร .
Una volta completato, dislocherร 35 tonnellate e mezzo, con un rapporto superficie velica/dislocamento – a detta del progettista – ancora piรน potente rispetto ย a quello del Wally 100. E che il nuovo 93 piedi abbia attinto dalle caratteristiche progettuali dell’ammiraglia Wally, non c’รจ dubbio, cosรฌ come dal Maxi 72, scafi tutti progettati da Judel&Vrolijk.
Il Wally 93 dovrebbe esprimere il massimo delle sue potenzialitร in condizioni medie di vento, ma anche con venti forti, la lifting keel, che porta il pescaggio da 4,5 a 6,2 metri, permette di aumentare il momento raddrizzante e di conseguenza il mantenimento di una potente superficie velica.
Coperta molto pulita e sgombra, una postazione di governo centrale, tutte le manovre che scompaiono sotto traccia, questo nuovo progetto manifesta due forti potenzialitร : una grande ergonomia per un equipaggio in manovra e nello stesso tempo tanto spazio libero per ospiti in crociera.
Gli interni del Wally 93 sono ancora in evoluzione. Gli elementi certi sono la cabina armatoriale a prua e due cabine per gli ospiti a poppa con la presenza di una zona di disimpegno che divida l’area dell’armatore dal quadrato, cucina e zona equipaggio.
La scelta di realizzare solo tre cabine รจ fortemente indicativa dell’intensione di garantire tanto spazio per gli ospiti ma anche tanta privacy, proprio grazie alla separazione netta fra le zone di lavoro e convivialitร da quelle destinate alle cabine.
