Grigio scuro, con le sovrastrutture arancioni e la carena dello stesso colore, ha in bella vista, sul tubolare di destra, il teschio di Seashepard, la famosa organizzazione ambientalista che in tutti i mari del mondo porta attacchi a baleniere e navi inquinatrici per difedere ambiente e cetacei. Veri e propri guerrieri del mare, che si sono rivolti a Zar per avere un mezzo agile e veloce per le lro incursioni.

Presente al salone con 10 battelli, dal piccolo Tender 0 al lโultimo Zar 85SL, lโazienda di Motta Visconti, in provincia di Milano, in America รจ di casa. Una casa in costante ampliamento, viso che negli ultimi 12 mesi, i dealer sono aumentati con lโaggiunta dei rivenditori di Cap Cod e Hustonย che si sommano a quelli di Seattle, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa (sede dellโimportatore) San Diego, Newport, Isole Vergini e Baltimora.
Un dispiegamento di forze che ha contribuito non poco alle performance del 2017, che hanno fatto registrare per lโazienda un fatturato uguale a quello del 2008, ultimo anno prima della grande crisi. Anche se le caratteristiche del mercato americano sono diverse da quelle dell’areaUE.
โIl nostro prodotto โ ci spiega Formenti – che nellโarea mediterranea รจ concepito per un uso primario, negli Stati Uniti รจ percepito soprattutto come un grande tender per megayacht. Nel 90% dei casi, i nostri clienti sono armatori di grandi imbarcazioni che cercano tender veloci e marini. Solo un 10% della clientela dโOltreoceano cerca un gommone Zar per utilizzarlo come prima imbarcazioneโ.
E se la soddisfazione ย si misura a due cifre per lโazienda di Piero Formenti, non ci facciamo scappare lโoccasione per avere una valutazione in termini piรน generali del mercato nautico da chi, come lui, riveste anche un duplice ruolo istituzionale, essendo vice presidente Ucina e presidente di Ebi, la confindustria nautica europea che raggruppa le associazioni industriali del comparto nautico di tutti i paesi europei.
โLa valutazione รจ positiva โ ci spiega โ con una crescita generalizzata che da due anni si assesta intorno al 15%. Va bene tutto il mercato europeo in generale, con Germania in testa, un poโ stazionaria la Francia, bene anche i Paesi Bassi e la Gran Bretagna. Insomma, anche in Europa cโรจ una ripresa consolidata e generalizzataโ. E per quanto riguarda il mercato interno?
โLa risposta si articola su due piani. Sul primo ci arrivo in veste istituzionale, sul secondo come semplice imprenditore. Per quanto riguarda il fatturato interno, le cose continuano a migliorare, i consumi interni stanno crescendo. Siamo passati da un fatturato interno del 33% nel 2010 a un 7% nel 2014. Oggi, le vendite verso il mercato domestico sono salite fino al 12% con un trend positivo. Come imprenditore perรฒ devo dire che gli sforzi non sono uguali per tutti. Ancora oggi in Italia ci sono cantieri che fanno fatica a rispettare le regole sul piano delle assunzioni e della messa a norma di ambienti e impianti. Questa รจ concorrenza sleale e penalizza chi invece ha fatto una scelta di correttezza e impegnoโ.
